Vaughan’s Super2 Mustang breaks cover

TICKFORD RACING – BRAD VAUGHAN 2023 LIVERY REVEAL

Tickford Racing has revealed the colours for reigning Dunlop Super3 Series champion Brad Vaughan’s debut in the Dunlop Super2 Series, taking the covers off the No. 5 Dormer HVAC Services Ford Mustang ahead of the 2023 Super2 Series season. South Australia-born Vaughan comes to Tickford Racing after claiming the 2022 Super3 Series crown in dramatic fashion in early December, and steps up to the top rung of the Supercars development ladder alongside team mate Elly Morrow, a fellow newcomer to Tickford Racing.
 
Commenting on his new car’s colours, Vaughan made note of the learning curve ahead of him, but remains eager to learn and compete with fellow rising stars of Australian motorsport, following a 2022 season where he scored five race wins in the Super3 Series.
 
“I’m so excited to unveil the colours on our No. 5 Ford Mustang for the start of my Dunlop Super2 Series career,” 18-year old Vaughan said. “The car looks incredible and I’m extremely happy to have Dormer HVAC Services on board as the naming rights partner on my car for my Super2 debut. I’ve been fortunate to have a heap of supporters willing to be part of the journey of my first year in Super2 which is fantastic, and makes me even more excited for the year ahead. It’s going to be a massive year and I have a lot to learn, but I’m really looking forward to getting after it and seeing how we go. Now that the livery’s out and the car’s ready I just can’t wait to get behind the wheel and get the season going!”

Dormer HVAC Services, which will serve as naming rights partner on Vaughan’s Mustang from the 2023 season-opening Newcastle 500 in March, is a well-established Air conditioning and mechanical ventilation company which provides service to the coastal regions of Sydney.
 
Vaughan’s No. 5 Ford Mustang is also supported by Sedan Hotel, Angaston Motors, Castrol, DRR, Dutts Cutts & Scapes, Evolution Crash Repairs, Hill Excavations, James Rosenberg Racing, Misch’s Excel Garage, Mowers Plus, The Print Market, and Yardstick.
 
Brad Vaughan and team mate Elly Morrow will hit the track for their first test day of the 2023 season in early February at Winton Motor Raceway in preparation for the Newcastle 500, taking place March 10-12 on the streets of Newcastle.
