TICKFORD RACING – TRADIE PARNTERSHIP EXPANDS

Tickford Racing’s pits and bits will be keeping fresh thanks to an expanded partnership with TRADIE, which has stepped up its involvement with the team for the remainder of the 2021 Supercars season. The expanded partnership sees increased TRADIE branding added to Cam Waters’ No. 6 Monster Energy Ford Mustang, as well as significant brand placement on Thomas Randle’s No. 55 Castrol Racing Ford Mustang for its three wild card appearances on the 2021 calendar.
Ben Goodfellow, General Manager and founder of TRADIE has lauded the expanding partnership as a great step forward for an already beneficial existing relationship.
“We at TRADIE are delighted to step up our partnership with Tickford Racing and work more closely with some of the top nuts in Australian motorsport,” Goodfellow said. “This partnership is an excellent fit for our brand, with fun and engaging characters that fit the true blue Aussie mould in a high profile sport where we can showcase TRADIE products on track at some of Australia’s biggest events. We’re very happy to be getting more involved with the team and keeping Tickford Tradie Tough, and can’t wait to show off our new and upcoming products to Tickford and Supercars fans around the country.”
TRADIE signed on as Tickford’s official workwear provider in 2018, which has seen Tickford’s crew kitted out in TRADIE gear both at the track and at the workshop. Part of the expanded partnership will see the team produce a number of digital content pieces featuring Tickford Racing drivers and crew promoting new TRADIE products and showcasing the entertaining and comedic content TRADIE has become known for.
Tickford Racing CEO and Team Principal Tim Edwards praised the support of TRADIE, who have been close supporters of the team since the partnership’s inception, going as far to provide its travelling crew with body spray during the team’s time extended time away from Victoria in 2020.
“We’ve had a genuinely enjoyable partnership with TRADIE to date, so we’re very happy to be expanding our relationship for the balance of the season,” Edwards said. “Our partnership is a great mix of brands; TRADIE is known for its high-quality products and hilarious Australian style, and we aim for high performance on the track and aren’t afraid to have our bit of fun off of it. Tradie’s support of the team has been fantastic as well, going above and beyond last year and sending boxes of body spray to the track to make sure the team had fresh pits and bits as they worked on their bits, in the pits. We created some fun content around that and there’s more on the way with this expanded partnership, so we’re certainly looking forward to continue building this great relationship.”
Tickford Racing and TRADIE next hit the track this weekend at the Winton SuperSprint, May 28-30 in regional Victoria north of Melbourne.
