TICKFORD RACING – RYCO FILTERS RE-SIGNS WITH TICKFORD
2 March, 2022
Tickford Racing has extended and expanded its relationship with Ryco Filters ahead of the 2022 Supercars season, in which the leading filtration brand continue its support of the championship-winning organisation. The agreement will see prominent Ryco branding across all four of Tickford Racing’s Ford Mustang Supercars, and the continued use of Ryco fuel and oil filters in all of Tickford’s cars in both the Supercars Championship and Dunlop Super2 Series.
As Tickford Racing expands to four full-time entries for the 2022 season, Stuart Chandler, Executive General Manager of Ryco Filters expressed his excitement for the upcoming 13-round campaign.
“We’ve established a fantastic relationship with Tickford Racing over the past year, and are delighted to be continuing with a greater involvement with the team in 2022,” Chandler said. “Our partnership not only allows us to prove the importance of the specifications we put in to our filters, it also gives us the chance to battle test those products on the track at the pinnacle of Australian motorsport. The filters that Tickford Racing use on race day are the same ones a customer can buy off the shelf, and by partnering with a team as successful as Tickford we know we’ll be in a position to celebrate further success together in 2022. This year is going to be an exciting one for the team at Tickford Racing, and we are proud to be along for the ride.”
Tickford Racing CEO and Team Principal Tim Edwards offered his thanks to Ryco, whose filters enhanced the performance of the team’s Supercars when first introduced to the team in 2021.
“Having the support of Ryco Filters has been a tremendous asset to our team, and we are extremely happy to be continuing with them in 2022,” Edwards said. “We’ve worked very closely with the team at Ryco since our relationship began last year, and have enjoyed a very beneficial partnership both on and off the track. Ryco is very keen to use our team to improve and develop their products, which in turn helps us extract better performance from our cars, so it’s great to have a partner that’s involved and able to give us an edge on the track. We’re looking forward to sharing more success together in what promises to be an exciting 2022 season.”
