TICKFORD AUTOSPORT YOUNG GUNS SET FOR SUPERCARS WILDCARDS & ENDUROS

Tickford Autosport continues to expand its programme in 2025, with Lochie Dalton and Rylan Gray stepping up to compete in the Supercars Championship as wildcard entries, alongside their Dunlop Super2 Series commitments.

Dalton will take on the Perth SuperSprint, marking his second appearance in the main game after debuting at Sydney Motorsport Park in 2024. Meanwhile, Gray will make his Supercars debut as a wildcard at the Darwin Triple Crown, an exciting milestone in his young career.

The duo will then face one of the toughest challenges of their careers—competing in the Bathurst 1000 and The Bend endurance races while simultaneously continuing their Super2 campaigns. Taking on both Supercars’ biggest endurance events and the fiercely competitive Super2 Series in the same weekend at Bathurst is no small feat, making this one of the most intense schedules for any young driver on the grid.

Simon Brookhouse - Tickford Racing CEO highlighted the significance of the programme, reinforcing the team’s commitment to developing the next generation of Supercars talent.

“Giving young drivers the opportunity to gain experience at the highest level is something we’re passionate about at Tickford Racing. Lochie and Rylan have both shown great potential in Super2, and stepping up as wildcard entries in the main game is the perfect next step in their development."

"We saw what Lochie was capable of when he made his wildcard debut last year, and adding Rylan into the mix for 2025 makes this an even more exciting programme. Competing in both Super2 and the enduros will be a massive challenge, but we believe in their talent and can’t wait to see what they can achieve.”

Dalton is eager for another shot at Supercars, embracing both the wildcard opportunity and the chance to tackle the enduro campaign alongside his Tickford Autosport teammate.

"I'm keen for another crack at the main game, kicking things off in Perth before teaming up with Rylan for the enduro season. I can’t thank the team enough for giving me and my little mate a shot in the big leagues. It’s going to be a huge challenge, but I’m ready to take it on."

For Gray, the wildcard and enduro campaigns mark a major step forward in his career, as he prepares for his first taste of Supercars competition.
