We head to Symmons Plains Raceway this weekend in the finalsprint round before the enduro season officially kicks off.
A lap around Symmons Plains is short but fast. The turn four hairpin and left-hander at the end of the back straight are the two best passing opportunities.
The banking at the hairpin makes for a unique opportunity to line up a good run out of one of the slowest corners on the Supercars calendar.
We’ll hit the track for the first time at 2:20pm Friday August16 with an hour-long practice session.

“I’m excited to get down to Tassie. The race track provides great racing and we are usually strong there as a team. We’ve got some momentum at the moment so I’m hoping we can keep building on that and get a few more trophies.”

"I’m looking forward to getting down to Symmons Plains. We have some great momentum as a team coming off some really strong rounds. Back on the Super Soft tyre this weekend and it's the last SuperSprint round of the year so I'm keen to hopefully grab some strong results before we roll into the enduros! Might be packing a few warm jackets for Tassie though!"
For those wanting to catch all of the action, the 2024Tasmania SuperSprint will be broadcast exclusively live on Foxtel and Kayo with highlights on the Seven Network and 7plus.
