Legendary menswear brand LOWES aboard the Monster Energy Racing Mustang

TICKFORD RACING – ICONIC MENSWEAR RETAILER JOINS WATERS’ TITLE PUSH FOR 2023

One of Australia’s most iconic and long-serving menswear retailers will make its first foray into Supercars when it features on the Monster Racing Mustang of Cam Waters in 2023.

Lowes Menswear has been at the forefront of the industry since it was established in 1898.

More than 125 years on, Lowes now has over 200 stores nationally and is the leading Australian retailer of menswear, young menswear and school wear, offering well-made clothing at affordable prices.

Managing Director and CEO Mrs Linda Penn said the company has been built on integrity, forward planning and financial success.

“As a family-owned business, Lowes is part of a small but elite group of companies which have been in business for 125 years and is still 100% Australian owned.”

For many years the retailer has had a strong association with the NRL, but Mrs Penn said she saw an obvious alignment between the retailer and Supercars.

“In a brand conscious society, while many outfitters have paid dearly to charge more for a somewhat pretentious, upmarket image, Lowes have maintained a simple, down to Earth integrity in the way we have conducted business for over a century.

“Since the business was founded, it has grown from a traditional “value for money” menswear store to become a well-known Australian icon in its own right. We see that ideal as being perfectly aligned with Supercars.”

Tickford CEO Tim Edwards welcomed Lowes to the Tickford family, echoing many of Mrs Penn’s sentiments.
