Le Brocq ready to ride Truck Assist Mustang

1 February, 2021
Jack Le Brocq’s Truck Assist Ford Mustang has broken cover ahead of the 2021 Supercars Championship season. Le Brocq takes the reigns of the No. 5 Mustang in 2021 after a 2020 season that saw him score his first Supercars podiums, including his first career victory at the Truck Assist Sydney SuperSprint in July.

The No. 5 Truck Assist Ford Mustang also features support from Ford, Castrol, PPG, Ryco Filters, Isuzu Trucks, SSI Schaefer, Disc Brakes Australia, McQuinn Electrical, Haltech, Versalux Lighting, and more. Following the achievements of 2020, Le Brocq aims to find further and more frequent success in the 2021 campaign.

“I’m pumped for the new season,” Le Brocq said. “Last year was obviously pretty crazy for everyone, but we took a lot of positive steps during the year and picking up the win in Sydney was unreal. I feel like I improved as a driver and got more comfortable as the year progressed, obviously I want to continue that this year and take that next step forward. I’ve been working hard and I know the boys have been working hard getting the car together, so we’re looking forward to the challenge and hopefully you’ll see those bright orange wheels on the Truck Assist Mustang at the front of the field in 2021.”

Le Brocq will take the No. 5 Truck Assist Ford Mustang out for its first laps in anger at Tickford Racing’s pre-season test on February 16 at Winton Motor Raceway, ahead of the season-opening Mount Panorama 500, February 26-28.
