TICKFORD RACING – TRADIE RACING LIVERY LAUNCH
21 February, 2022
Tickford Racing driver Jake Kostecki and workwear and lifestyle brand Tradie have roared into the 2022 Supercars Championship with a dust-kicking launch of the livery of the No. 56 Tradie Ford Mustang. Kostecki will make his debut for Tickford Racing in next weekend’s Sydney SuperNight, but got a taste of his new Mustang slipping and sliding around in filming of the launch video that sees the new-look Ford having some pre-season fun at 7500 rpm.
Having moved to Melbourne in the offseason to be closer to Tickford’s HQ, West Australian-born Kostecki is eager for the season ahead with his new team.
“The Tradie Mustang looks mega,” the 22-year old said, “and she sure is fun to rip around in, it’s a really fun way to bring Tradie into the category as a major partner. I’m pumped about this season and joining Tickford Racing, I’m really enjoying being part of the team and think we can have a great year in the 56 camp. We’re all looking forward to hitting the track tomorrow and starting the season strong next weekend in Sydney.”
Kostecki will turn his first proper laps aboard the No. 56 Tradie Mustang on Tuesday at Tickford Racing’s pre-season test, ahead of the season-opening Sydney SuperNight, which takes place March 4-6 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
